AB Consultancy Software Ltd is a new presence in the information security industry landscape in Romania but our consultants have over 15 years of internal and international experience. We have performed until now a varied range of penetration tests with different scenarios and degrees of complexity, technologies or equipment. Because we consider that only by understanding a specific software product you can understand exactly where problems can occur, each team member is able to fluently write code in several programming languages, starting with Ruby, PHP, Perl, Python or C and ending with some assembly language specific processor architectures (ARM, IA32 , ia64, sparc). Our team members are so familiar with all kinds of vulnerabilities that may arise in software development processes, from mundane SQL injection, XML injection, HTTP injection through buffer overflow, integer overflow and memory overlap and continuing with intricate and subtle vulnerabilities logic and software applications. Even if computer vulnerabilities are less noticeable and exploited, they are not the only ones that may become the target of determined attackers. Information security practice teaches that the human factor is the weak link, for which a number of scenarios penetration tests is usually focused on it.
