简介 | An independent non-profit students' association by the title "Cyprus Medical Students' Association", abbreviated as CyMSA. The aims of the Association are as follows: (i) Cultivating the ideals of friendship and Democracy among the people and the youth worldwide. (ii) The contribution to the analysis and promotion to working-out solutions to health problems the social cohesion as a whole faces. (iii) Studying and promoting scientific interests of medical students. (iv) Promoting scientific and educational exchanges among medical students in Cyprus and medical students worldwide. (v) Representing of medical students in Cyprus at the International Federation of Medical Students Association referred to further on as IFMSA and the representation of the medical students of Cyprus at the European Medical Students' Association, hereinafter referred to as EMSA. (vi) Find solutions to various problems the Medical Students in Cyprus face. (vii) Maintaining contact and co-operating with the International Committees for international relations and exchanges taking place among medical students world-wide, unless the General Assembly held by CyMSA deems otherwise. CyMSA will be pursuing the realization of its aims: (i) Encouraging participation of medical students in issues involving prevention, research and confrontation of health problems. (ii) By researching, forming alternative sentences and promoting ways of solving problems presented collectively and providing solutions to problems relative to medical education. (iii) Conducting research exchange programs. . (iv) Organizing daily social events, symposiums, conferences, summer medical school classes and meetings within the framework of the activity range of the corresponding medical Student's Associations and that of IFMSA. (v) Issuing printed forms, organizing assemblies, arranging press conferences and cultural events |
