Developing leaders for a changing world, JCI provides the framework for young active citizens to create sustainable impact in communities all over the world. JCI members see challenges, not as obstacles, but as opportunities. JCI Mayo is affiliated to JCI Ireland and also part of the largest personal and leadership development organisation for young people, in their 20s and 30s – Junior Chamber International. It provides a range of activities and projects in 4 opportunity areas: Individual, Community, International and Business. JCI is an excellent way to meet new people, both locally, nationally & internationally, with any amount of social events to attend. Running projects and events that members want, creates opportunities for personal development and offers the members a chance to learn new skills in a safe and supportive environment while developing individual talents. It's also a way of giving something back to the community through worthwhile charity projects. The vision is simple: JCI is the leading global network of young active citizens. And the mission is to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.
