NOBOCOMM Inc (501c3)

NOBOCOMM is a 501c3 Non Profit organization established to connect people to information and services. Our initial focus will be Disaster and Emergency Rapid Response and Recovery accessible communications. We will also deliver critically needed community outreach in the areas of health, education, workforce development and veterans outreach. Our success will be based on sustaining an extensive international volunteer network including expertise in (but not limited to) ASL/ISL, Spoken Language Translation, Accessibility, Technology, Communications, Assistive Technology, Logistics, and Operations. At the core of NOBOCOMM's operations mobile broad band, interoperable communications. This capability is delivered through the IC4U mobile unit (pictured above) produced by Information Processing Systems of California. (IPS). IPS developed the Advanced Command Control Communications System in 2003: This technology was developed due to the lack of communications during the events of 9/11/2001. The IC4U is a rapidly deployable, fully self-contained communication/incident command platform. A key feature is the mast-mounted camera that provides streaming video almost instantly to any computer globally. It is designed to lead and coordinate the response to natural disasters, or any other type of emergency.
