Kiattua is this place - a warm and comfortable base from which to explore a land untouched by human hand. Each of our five, state-of-the-art tepees are tall enough to stand up in and built on wooden platforms to insulate from the Arctic climate, with a private, tepee bathroom next door. A short walk away a dining tepee glimmers like the Milky Way. Lit by fairy lights and candles, our award-winning chef prepares a daily changing, menu of freshly caught local ingredients like reindeer and cod with herbs, berries and mushrooms foraged from land and sea. All activities are hyper personalised to match interests and fitness levels. Included in the stay are a wide range of activities from swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking among the icebergs, to spearfishing, char tickling and foraging. You can hike ancient hunters' trails, explore the fjords by boat, or visit Inuit families in a remote village. At the end of the day, relax with a gin and tonic in our mineral-rich, hot tub – the ultimate spot for enjoying this icy wonderland to the full. Kiattua is all about providing hyper-personalised, low-impact, immersive adventures. Located on the shingle shores of a bay hidden deep within the Nuuk Fjord, it can only be accessed by boat or helicopter. Open for just 4 months of the year, each camp is limited to just 12 guests at the time, and each group gets their own nomad guide. Kiattua is a place like no other.
