We created The Syndicate to help international angel investors access the Armenian startup deal flow and leverage a bustling Armenian diaspora located in finance and tech centers. Background Armenia's tech sector has grown more than 20% per year on average in the past 10 years. A solid pool of local startups has been emerging with venture-backed names such as Picsart, Krisp, Superannotate, Sololearn, Teamable, Activeloop, and Renderforest... $200M+ has been invested in local startups in the past 5 years. A host of international tech giants such as VM Ware; Xilinx, Oracle, Cisco, Synopsis, Teamviewer, and National Instruments... have set up offices and created a fertile ground and pool of talents making it possible for new startups to emerge. BANA Angels - is at the center of the Armenian startup ecosystem. BANA leads a number of ecosystem-building initiatives including an incubator, startup boot camps, and various conferences and events for startups.
