简介 | BEEYO Environmental Consultancy is a registered consultancy firm, established in the Federal Government of Somalia. In English, the name BEEYO means frankincense, which is widely available in Somalia, that is what prompted the company to adopt the BEEYO nameplate. BEEYO works with public and private sector clients and implements multidisciplinary projects that require ‘green' as well as ‘grey' environmental expertise. We combine expertise that is available in Somalia and globally, and we put it to work. BEEYO Environmental Consultancy was Founded in 2016, the firm helps develop policies, plans, and projects in relation to the use and conservation of biological resources, including forestry and ecotourism for government, non- governmental organizations, UN agencies among a range of clients both in Mogadishu and across Somalia. We implement studies, assess, and monitor the social and environmental impacts of agriculture, mining, infrastructure, and other projects. We also advise on the valuation of environmental resources and certification of their sustainable use. In addition, we design and implement customized training modules and short courses aimed at raising awareness on environmental degradation issues, empowering local communities on environmental planting and conservation. We also assist organizations in designing and managing projects, fundraising, and recruiting staff. We worked and officially registered with the Federal Government of Somalia and Federal Members states. BEEYO manages an excellent relationship with the Federal Government of Somalia and Federal Member States (FMS) officials and has been selected as a successful implementing partner and consultant to provide strategic development of policies plans in relation to the use and conservation of biological resources, including forestry and ecotourism. |
