Moms come with their tots once a week for two hours of fun and learning. Classes are in the mornings or afternoons (or even Saturdays in some areas). Age-appropriate Programmes cater for each age group. Classes are limited to 12 Moms with their Tots. The balanced Programmes are designed to provide activities that promote opportunities for the all-round development of the child in a natural and fun-learning environment. During the Workshops, Mothers are actively involved in a non-intrusive, supportive way which encourages the Tots self-motivation and allows for bonding between them. As children of different ages need different gross and fine motor stimulation to help them achieve their age appropriate milestones the programme is broken into two age appropriate groups: Tiny Tots (1 to 1½ Years) Tots (1½ to 3½ Years) This provides stimulation for little ones in the 12-18 months' age group, allowing for their shorter attention span, with special emphasis on gross motor co-ordination. Hands-on activities and "action play" are therefore of shorter duration.
